Challenges and Solutions
/If you want a positive solution to your challenge, you need to be flexible and realistic. Reflect on what you want as a resolution, what you need to give up and negotiate a compromise. View your current situation as an experience, an opportunity to gain some understanding about yourself, your beliefs, your strengths, and your weaknesses. How do you honestly feel, think, and wish to behave with the people in your challenge and what is the ideal image of yourself.
Einstein once said that in order to solve your problem, you need to take your thinking process to a level of consciousness and awareness that is greater than your current level of thinking. In other words, what you are thinking is what you are experiencing and if you want a better outcome, you need to think higher than your current level of doing things. Write down and answer the following five questions on a piece of paper.
What is the challenge in your life that you are searching for a solution?
What do you need to give up in order to move forward?
What are your thoughts, feelings and beliefs when you think of the situation, and are they loving and respectful to yourself?
How would you like others to perceive you?
How would you behave if a similar challenge presented itself again?
Review these questions and answers every day with the intention of updating your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. You want to constantly remind yourself that you are committed to finding a positive solution. If it will help you, carry your questions and answers with you so that throughout the day you can study and embody them. The whole purpose to this process is to bring a new level of awareness to your situation.
Keep practicing the solution to your challenge in your mind until you are eager for the problem to arise again so that you can perform your solution. This process will help you expand the awareness of your thinking, feeling and doing things. Ask your heart, are your thoughts, feelings and behaviours respectful and loving to you?
